In August 2012, Binay Opto Electronics Pvt Ltd launched its PowerLED line of clean room luminaires, which have been designed to eliminate particulate and vapour migration into clean room and laboratory environments.

Features and USP: The PowerLED clean room luminaires are hermetically sealed at the emission surface, in order to eliminate the possibility of any dust or vapour contamination of the illuminated area in clean room applications such as in pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturing, food servicing and processing, and in laboratories. Developed for installation into recessed 2’x2′ ceiling grid systems, they are available in configurations suitable for replacement of conventional 2×36 W and 3×36 W CFL fittings. While the long life of these luminaires (50,000 hours to 70 per cent lumen maintenance) eliminates the need for replacement maintenance, the low power consumption offers continued savings by drastically reducing power consumption costs.
