Philips appoints KORE as distributor for LED products

Wednesday, June 19, 2013: Philips has entered into global distribution agreement with Key Operation & Electrocomponents (KORE), which would allow Philips an immediate access to the growing Indian LED market.

Philips Lumileds CEO Pierre-Yves Lesaicherre has reportedly said, “LED lighting is just beginning to take off in India. But we expect remarkable growth in this market over the next several years, in both commercial and off-grid applications”.

With this agreement, KORE would have full access to the products, services and people at Philips Lumileds.
