Scienscope Appoints New Optical Inspection Manager in Mexico/Latin America

Martinez is an industrial engineer with 25 years of experience in the electronics industry

US-based leading supplier of cabinet-style micro-focus X-ray systems, Scienscope International recently announced the appointment of Cesar Gomez Martinez to the post of Optical Inspection Manager for Mexico and Latin America.

On his appointment, Martinez commented, “The opportunity arose to take over the optical inspection management in Mexico and Latin America for Scienscope International.” He added, “I am happy to be part of a company that likes to serve the client, innovate and continue to grow. I am sure Scienscope will be in the industry for many years to come.”

It must be noted that Martinez is an industrial engineer with 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, within the maquiladora industry in the material supply (purchasing) and sales with distributors like EIS for 21 years.

The company noted that Martinez marketed numerous Scienscope products and personally verified the quality, service and guarantee of the products during his 21 years in sales. When he left EIS, it added, he started a representation company ITSREP, where he was Scienscope’s commercial representative.

Founded in 1994, the machine vision, X-ray and automation expert company, Scienscope aims to meet the growing need for reliable and affordable general-purpose optical and video inspection solutions for the electronics and PCB industries. The company began with essential stereo zoom microscopes used for SMT inspection and rework of circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies. Over the past 25 years, Scienscope has evolved to become a complete inspection solution provider, offering offline and inline X-Ray systems, video coordinate measurement systems, video inspection systems, and microscopes to meet a wide variety of applications and manufacturing quality requirements.
