Oscilloscopes
In February 2012, Agilent Technologies announced the addition of four 1-GHz models to its award winning line of InfiniiVision 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes.
Features and USP: These new oscilloscopes address the growing need for higher bandwidth bench scopes by offering 1 GHz models at prices starting at what other leading manufacturers charge for models with half the bandwidth. Doubling the available bandwidth addresses the top customer-requested enhancement for this family of oscilloscopes. The 2000 and 3000 X-Series continue to draw acclaim from engineers and industry opinion leaders for their combination of performance, value and innovative new features like WaveGen, which integrates the fixed function and arbitrary waveform stimulus with the oscilloscope response.

Clamp meters
In February 2012, Fluke Corporation launched a 771 milliamp process clamp meter.
Features and USP: This clamp meter is for programmable logic controllers (PLC) and control systems’ analogue input/output. It measures milliampere signals with a 0.01 mA resolution and relies on the ‘hold’ function that captures and displays changing measurements. The detachable clamp with an extension cable allows users to take measurements in tight locations, and the built in spot light illuminates dark enclosures.

Test platforms
In January 2012, National Instruments introduced a solution for testing next generation 802.11ac WLAN chipsets and devices.
Features and USP: The802.11ac WLAN test solution provides flexibility in testing 802.11ac devices in addition to testing 802.11a/b/g/n devices. It works with signal bandwidths including 20, 40, 80 and 80+80 160 MHz for both Tx and Rx for up to 4×4 multiple input and multiple output configurations.
The 802.11ac test platform features modulation formats up to 256 QAM, optional MAC features such as LDPC, STBC and AMPDU and automated test system development using NI LabVIEW, C or Microsoft Visual Studio.

Multifunction meter
In February 2012, MECO-G introduced R-27 series multifunction network instrument which can measure more than 50 electrical parameters in the electrical circuit.
Features and USP: This instrument has seven segment bright red LED display in five rows operated on 85-264V AC/DC auxillary supply and the instrument is available in size (96X96)mm. It has two channel electrical energy pulse outputs, four channel switching value inputs and RS485 communication output with modbus protocol. There are four channel switching value outputs available in this instrument. The multifunction meter is ideal for panel builders, power monitoring systems etc.
