Saregama, formerly known as The Gramophone Company of India Ltd, has come into partnership with Harman Kardon, by HARMAN, world’s leading audio brand, to launch the next generation of products under the Carvaan portable music player range. Carvaan Gold, the first product from this partnership, was introduced on Tuesday.

The music player has a hi-end metallic body and is available in exclusive Rose Gold and Champagne Gold colours. The latest product is incorporated with an app that allows the consumers to create their own playlist or they can select their favourite song from the existing playlist on Carvaan.
Vast songs collection
The new product has all the features of Carvaan. The player is pre-loaded with 5000 evergreen Hindi songs and users can enjoy the same without any interruption of ads. The songs are categorised into 130+ stations and feature the best of legendary Indian singers including Mohd. Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle and legends of Bollywood – Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Rajesh Khanna and others. The product also features the entire collection of Ameen Sayani’s Geetmala.
Carvaan Gold is incorporated with FM/AM radio and has the option to listen to the personal collection of songs through Bluetooth or by attaching a pen drive in USB port. The product takes power from a rechargeable battery that has the capacity to last up to 5 hours.
