Luminous preferred as a solar rooftop solutions firm

As one of the shortlisted member, Luminous Power Technologies gets to install a major part of 10000 roof-top solar PV plants each with 1kw capacity in the state.

Luminous Power Technologies has been shortlisted as one of the preferred agencies for Solar Roof-Top Solutions by the Agency for Non-Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT). As one of the shortlisted member, Luminous Power Technologies gets to install a major part of 10000 roof-top solar PV plants each with 1kw capacity in the state.

Luminous said it has the expertise of supplying, installing and commissioning 93KWp of Solar PV Power Plants across 43 Telecom sites in 5 villages in Punjab and 71 telecom sites of BSNL in the states of Punjab, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh (West), Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.

Manish Pant, managing director, Luminous Power Technologies, said, “This is a very significant moment for us to be shortlisted as one of the preferred partners for solar roof top solutions in Kerala by the Agency for Non-Conventional Energy and Rural Technology, a govt. body which has played a major role in promoting alternate energy solutions in the state. Our expertise in previous work orders have come in handy to acquire the project. We seek to expand our resource base and network across the country and intend to provide eco-friendly power solutions to millions of consumers across India.”

Luminous is a channel partner of MNRE and has been awarded with the SP 1A grade rating, the highest given out by CRISIL, for its capability as a system integrator in the Photovoltaic segment which is valid till 25 April 2014.
