AR/VR new drivers of development

The Mahindra group member believes that the AR and VR technologies will be driving the economy in the future as these will support the development stages in product prototyping in the manufacturing sector. These can also help for training purposes in businesses. However, to make the dream viable, Mahindro has pointed out the need for co-operation among the industries, the government and academic institutions.

New committee goal

The new committee’s aim is to combine the rising demands of industries and the suppliers to boost growth, research and innovation and thereby improve the industry standards in India. It has also set skill development, faster adoption and implementation of emerging technologies as its target. The committee will be partnering with industry experts and provide training to accomplish its goals. It will further work with the startups for further promotion and adoption of technologies.

The IAMAI formed committee comprises partners across industries. Some of these include names like Reliance Jio, Deloitte Digital and ITC Infotech among others. The committee believes that AR and VR will yield job creation and much-needed skill development across different sectors.
