Friday, May 31, 2013: Based on its recent analysis of the surface mount technology (SMT) reflow soldering equipment market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes Heller Industries, Inc. with the 2013 Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Market Share Leadership.

“Heller Industries’ commitment to customer service, new product design, and advances in the soldering process on the SMT line have given it a commanding position in the SMT soldering equipment market,” said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Nupur Sinha. “Its products have established a new benchmark by increasing the throughput on the SMT line at a price that provides a solid return on investment for customers. Frost & Sullivan research indicates that these strengths have helped Heller Industries achieve a market share of 20 percent in the global SMT soldering equipment market.”

Heller Industries demonstrates superior technology innovation. Its reflow ovens have a low cost of ownership, are eco-friendly, and enable customers to boost throughput and efficiency. Best suited for large format applications, the Mark V series reduces nitrogen and electricity use by up to 40 percent, and offers superior thermal performance and the lowest delta T values across the board.

“The latest platform with backward wheel technology provides dynamic pressure and thermal uniformity across a wider process area,” noted Nupur Sinha. “Such unique features distinguish the Mark V series reflow ovens from the competition, while delivering high value to customers.”

Products like the Mark V series reflow ovens are a result of Heller Industries’ customer-oriented approach. With the goal of maximizing customer satisfaction, the company works closely with customers to design and develop products.

“Another key strength of Heller Industries is its ability to offer complete, end-to-end solutions under a single roof,” added Nupur Sinha. “In addition, the company offers its products at an affordable price, keeping in mind the price-sensitive nature of the reflow soldering equipment market.”

Outstanding engineering expertise and a business model focused on regional manufacturing and centers of excellence have highlighted Heller Industries’ position as a global company with a strong local presence. Backed by its distinct brand reputation in the global reflow soldering equipment market and its strong customer relations, Heller Industries enjoys an unmatched level of customer trust and loyalty.

“Across the world, Heller Industries offers exceptional localized engineering, service, spares, and process support,” stated Nupur Sinha. “A strong and diverse customer base, combined with Heller Industries’ high-quality products and technological leadership, is set to fortify its dominant position in the global reflow soldering equipment market.”

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents the market share leadership award to the company that has demonstrated excellence in capturing the highest market share within its industry. The award recognizes the company’s leadership position within the industry in terms of revenues or units, as specified.

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices in the industry.
