Drone Vidya And USI To Boost Asian Drone Workforce

Drone Vidya is identified as the only drone academy in the Asia Pacific with international standardised curriculums and industry recognized certifications.

The Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) and Drone Vidya, a division of Skyller Solutions, have announced a partnership with the aim to enhance workforce development in the Asian commercial drone market. This will bring together the expertise of USI and the capabilities of Drone Vidya to provide comprehensive drone training and certification solutions in the rapidly growing Asian market.

The partnership with USI will provide Drone Vidya with industry-recognised content, curriculum, and certifications. It aims to address inconsistencies and gaps related to commercial drone regulations and best practices in the Asian market. Drone Vidya is identified as the only drone academy in Thailand and the Asia Pacific with international standardised curriculums and industry recognized certifications.

Drone Vidya will offer USI’s training and certification programs through its digital app platform called ‘Mandala’. The digital-based offering will be available in the local language and currency. Certifications from Drone Vidya’s digital platform will require third-party validation of both knowledge and flight examinations.

USI is a globally recognised leader in flight safety solutions for individuals, academia, and organisations involved in integrating and operating Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for civil or commercial purposes. USI has over 300 instructors, has awarded over 15,000 certifications worldwide, and works with large enterprises and schools across all 50 states. USI offers primary, advanced, and complex training and certification programs for visual line of sight (VLOS), beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), and advanced air mobility (AAM) operations.

Skyller Solutions, based in Bangkok, Thailand, specialises in UAS and Robotics for various sectors. Drone Vidya, a division of Skyller Solutions, focuses on developing remote pilot safety excellence and preparing students for sustainable employment through AI-based service matching. It provides end-to-end asset inspection services at mega-scale using industrial drones and robotics. The company leverages the power of Artificial Intelligence in their asset inspection platform for high-quality inspection results.
