According to a report by the Daily Pioneer, Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has installed a free fast-charging point for electric vehicles. It has been installed at VIP Road, near Energy Park.
The report said that state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has directed to promote battery run vehicles. It has procured an electric car from Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). The report said that other departments will also be promoted to procure electric-cars in future.
Five electric-auto-rickshaws from Mahindra
As per the report, CREDA has procured five electric-auto-rickshaws from Mahindra. It is being used in the ‘CREDA Reneweable Energy Gardens’ in different cities. EESL has given the vehicles in condition of free maintenance for five years said the report. Soalr energy charging stations have also been planned in the state.
