Akai Launches 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TVs Starting at Rs 59,990

This new range of Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TVs will compete against the likes of Vu, Onida, TCl and Auxus in the Indian Market

Akai India has announced the launch of new 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TVs in the country. The new Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV range comprises of 49-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models.

The latest 49-inch Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV has been priced at Rs 59,990 while the 55-inch Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV at Rs 69,990. The biggest in size, Akai 65-inch 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV will cost consumers Rs 1,24,990.

Commenting on the launch, Akai India director, Anurag Sharma said, “With this launch, we now have all the models starting from 24 inches to 65 inch and further planning to expand our offering further in the Indian market and provide a seamless experience of the entire product range. With the launch of these new Smart TVs, our aim is to bring to our consumers a whole new level of TV viewing experience”.

Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV Rivals

This new range of Akai LED TVs will compete against the likes of Vu, Onida, TCl and Auxus in the Indian Market.

The Vu technologies’ 55 inch 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV is currently retailing at a price of Rs 48,900 which is around Rs 20,000 less than than the one Akai launched today. Similarly, TCL 55-inch 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV is available on a leading e-commerce portal in India for Rs 39,990, which again is around Rs 30,000 lesser than Akai’s latest 55-inch smart LED TV.

Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV features

Famous for Japanese technology, every variant in the latest Akai LED TVs lineup will come integrated with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB storage. Consumers will be able to stream content from internet using built-in Wi-Fi. The USB ports will also enable users to plug and play content using pen-drives.

Akai is claiming that the A+ grade panel incorporated in all variants redefines viewing experience by giving high performance, error-free resolution, reliability, colour scheme, durability, brightness and contrast.

The press-release issued by the company claims LED displays integrated on new LED TVs to be capable of showcasing 1.07 Billion colours. All the new Akai 4K ULTRA HD Smart LED TV will come with Dolby Audio.

Consumers will also have access to inbuilt AKAI Store which can be accessed through Internet. The new Akai TVs can be used to access social networking sites and for playing games downloaded from the app store.
