Addverb Technologies Accelerates Global Expansion, Announces Leadership Appointments

These hires come in the backdrop of Addverb’s recent expansion in markets of Singapore, Europe, and Australia. The move is inspired by a surge in demand for automation and robotics solutions in these markets

Addverb Technologies, an India-based robotics and automation company, has announced the appointment of international leadership to strengthen its global expansion efforts and enhance competitive positioning. The company has appointed Sylvain Auvray as Chief Design Officer and Phillip Gollan as Chief Service Officer for global operations.

Sylvain Auvray brings more than 25 years of experience, having served in leadership positions in reputed global industrial machine making companies such as Serac Group and Sidel and has expertise in product development, supplier development, planning, designing and localization of products. At Addverb, Sylvain will be responsible for developing and implementing the product strategy, right from conceptualisation to product design, automation, prototyping and innovation.

Speaking about the appointment, Sylvain Auvray, Chief Design Officer, Addverb Technologies, Singapore, said, “I am thrilled to be a part of Addverb Technologies and keen on the opportunity to lead a team of passionate engineers that will work on delivering some of the most cutting-edge products in the field of Robotics and material handling automation. I strongly believe that technology can ease the post-pandemic supply chain complexity and I am looking forward to contributing to the ambitious journey of Addverb.”

On the other hand, Phillip Gollan, has been appointed as Chief Service Officer. Phil will be responsible for delivering seamless customer service for global deployments of Addverb. He has more than 2 decades of experience and has served in leadership positions at KHS Asia Pte Ltd and Serac Asia Sdn Bhd. Helping both the companies substantially improve the quality of their products by incorporating the feedback from customers and setting processes to handle customer escalations. It is expected that with expertise in these markets, Phil will support management to frame Addverb’s growth strategies.

Phillip Gollan, Chief Service Officer, said, “I am really excited about this opportunity. I have established robust support structures for developed and emerging markets in previous roles for B2B machine manufacturers. I firmly believe that it is important to train the customers to operate and manage automated systems efficiently, and also provide a human touch through on-site support. The aim is to achieve quick resolution of issues and arrest breakdowns through the quality of on and off-site support. The extent of the service and support will determine the success of any customer deployment”

These hires come in the backdrop of Addverb’s recent expansion in markets of Singapore, Europe, and Australia. The move is inspired by a surge in demand for automation and robotics solutions in these markets. The company also plans to set up micro-factories in areas where the demand for its solutions will arise.
