Established in 1996, IOTA International has come a long way by carving a niche for itself in the Indian electronics market. The company strongly believes in the importance of quality, which has helped it to sustain its growth. IOTA’s success mantra is, “Quality is the essence. Chase quality, and quantity will chase you.”

Since its inception, IOTA has consistently built a competent team of qualified engineers. To upgrade its infrastructure, the company has invested in a complete in-house tool room, injection moulding setup, electronics assembly, speaker manufacturing unit, SMT pick-and-place machines and an R&D unit. Mahawer says, “We satisfy our customers with our technical support and quality products. We can provide any kind of solution for OEMs and ODMs.”

Manufacturing facilities at a glance
IOTA has developed an integrated and well-structured manufacturing facility to offer the best products to its customers at affordable prices. An advanced R&D unit set up at the company premises is staffed with a multi-talented team of engineers, technicians and researchers, who keep track of the latest technologies, implementing them in products and in operations. All products are checked and evaluated for their performance, efficiency, construction, etc, prior to dispatch, which reduces the chances of defects.

To provide reliable products, IOTA has state-of-art facilities that use advanced equipment and excellent quality testing procedures. The manufacturing operations of IOTA are completely managed and governed by an experienced team of professionals, which includes marketing managers and electronics engineers.

The products available at IOTA include:

View on ‘Make in India’
IOTA extends its full support to the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative by relying less on imports. The company has decided to gradually lower its imports and try to focus more on localised sourcing for its products. It is also doing its best to import fewer finished products, and to import raw materials only in order to manufacture the end product in India. Mahawer believes that Make in India is a modern expansion of Gandhiji’s Swadeshi movement. He says, “Gandhiji asked Indians to discard foreign goods and use what was made in India. PM Modi is going one step further and asking the whole world to come and do their manufacturing in India.”
