On Sep 27th 2022, the India-based tech-company CoreEL received the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) Champion Awards 2022. Country’s Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh presented the award to the company’s MD & CEO, Mr Vishwanath Padur.
It is noteworthy that the product “Multi Channel wide Band Direct RF Data Acquisition, Signal processing & RF waveform generation System” won the award.
The jury consisted of eminent personalities like Dr Shivathanu Pillai (Chair), Dr Prahlada Rama Rao, Rear Admiral Pritam Lal, Lt Gen JP Nehra (Retd.), Mr RK Tyagi and Mr. SC Bajpai.
The company stated: “We are extremely honoured to have been recognized by SIDM as a winner of the 2022 Champion Award for Technology / Product Innovation to address Defence Capability Gaps.”
The stringent selection process emphasized on excellence achieved in the design and its usefulness to Defence applications.
All three chiefs of Indian Defence services, Chief of Indian Air force-Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Vice Chief of Indian Navy-Vice Admiral SN Ghormade, and Vice Chief of Indian Army Lt Gen BS Raju were present at the ceremony.
