Uno Minda Launches Advanced DVR With ADAS For Aftermarket

Priced at ₹6990, the DVR boasts ADAS and other safety features along with 720P recording.  

In response to the evolving Indian automotive market’s focus on advanced safety features, Uno Minda, a Tier 1 automotive solutions provider to OEMs, has introduced a Car DVR equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for the aftermarket in India. This product underscores Uno Minda’s dedication to integrated safety, combining state-of-the-art technology, sensors, and systems. The device, aimed at enhancing driver safety, features 720P full HD resolution for clear recording, a wide 170° lens angle for broader vision, and supports up to 32GB SD cards. It also offers easy connectivity to Android screens via USB.

Mr Karna Markan, Uno Minda’s Sales & Distribution Head, emphasized the company’s commitment to offering autonomous technology in the aftermarket for improved safety. The product addresses the rising incidents of road accidents by including features like Lane Departure Warning and Forward Vehicle Too Close Alert. Priced at 6990 INR, the durable and weather-resistant Uno Minda Car DVR with ADAS, made from metal and ABS, is available at leading stores and comes with a one-year warranty.

UNO MINDA Ltd., established in 1958, serves as a Tier 1 supplier, providing Automotive Solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The company’s aftermarket division offers a wide range of products for various vehicles, including 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, and off-road vehicles, encompassing over 30 product categories. These are produced across 72 manufacturing plants under Uno Minda.

The company’s distribution network is with over 1400 business partners, more than 40,000 retailers, and over 70,000 service points, spanning over 600 districts throughout India. Additionally, UNO MINDA has a global presence in Europe, the USA, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, ASEAN, and SAARC countries and operates export offices in Dubai and Indonesia.
