Toshiba Ties Up With TeknoDomo to Launch New Audio Products in India

Toshiba’s products will be made available by TeknoDomo through its network of distributors, top retail chains and online e-retailers, across India

Japanese multinational Toshiba Corporation partnered with TecknoDomo, a consumer electronics distributor in the markets of Middle East and CIS, to launch its audio products in Indian market. Recently, Toshiba has appointed TechnoDomo as its authorised distributor and importer for these products in Indian market.

The Japanese major’s newly launched series of audio products include wired and wireless earphones, portable speakers, CD/USB radios, portable CD players, gaming headset, soundbars, packet radios and micro component system.

To enhance market share

Commenting on the partnership, Santosh Varghese, Vice President, Toshiba Gulf FZE, said that India is a growing market for audio products. By launching the entire range of Toshiba’s audio products in India, our aim is to deliver best performance at an outstanding cost to Indian market.”

Speaking on the development, Saket Gaurav, CEO, TeknoDomo Group, said that by partnering with one of the leaders in consumer products brands – Toshiba, TeknoDomo’s endeavour is to gain a considerable market share for Toshiba’s products in India. We are confident that with the distribution of such products we scale higher in the domestic market next year.

Range of products

Toshiba launched the company’s RZE series of earphones and headphones that include foldable wireless and wired headset, gaming headset with virtual surround sound software, true wireless Bluetooth, wireless magnetic and wired earphones. In addition, the company has also launched light weight Bluetooth speakers TY-WSP21, which are water resistant and two new models of portable speakers – TY-ASC400 and TY-ASC60 having output of 400W and 60W, respectively.

Moreover, the range of company’s portable sound system includes 12-inch conversion turntable with in-built speakers and Bluetooth-connected CD radios. Toshiba’s Micro component systems includes DVD Micro Compo and CD Micro Compo, both integrated with a USB port and Bluetooth.

All the audio products and accessories of Toshiba will be made available by TeknoDomo through its network of distributors, top retail chains and online e-retailers, across India.
