The project will curb 3.72 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, says Suzlon

Pune-based Suzlon Group recently announced that it will develop 144.9 MW wind power projects for the Indian Conglomerate Aditya Birla Group. Under the order, it will undertake the renewable energy project in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The green power generated from the facility will mostly go for captive use in manufacturing units. The company claims that such a big project can curb 3.72 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.

Chairman and MD of Suzlon Group, Mr Vinod R Tanti said, “It is a matter of pride to announce our order with Aditya Birla Group.
