The pricing of the Rolls-Royce Spectre falls between the Cullinan and Phantom models.
Rolls-Royce Spectre, the inaugural electric vehicle in India, is priced at Rs 7.5 crore ex-showroom, marking it as the country’s most expensive four-wheeled EV for private buyers. The announcement includes battery specifications and an official range of 530km on the WLTP cycle. Bookings are open starting today.
The Spectre boasts a 102kWh battery pack, offering a 34-minute 10-80% charge with a 195kW charger and a 95-minute charge with a 50kW DC charger. With two electric motors generating a combined 585hp and 900Nm, the Spectre accelerates from 0 to 100kph in just 4.5 seconds.
Built on Rolls-Royce’s Architecture of Luxury, the Spectre’s aluminium spaceframe platform, designed for electrification in 2003, is claimed to be 30% stiffer than previous models. Active suspension and four-wheel steering enhance its performance.
In terms of design, the Spectre maintains the iconic Rolls-Royce silhouette, incorporating modern yacht concepts. It features a wide grille for aerodynamic efficiency, a split-headlamp design, and a fastback tail with a drag coefficient of 0.25, making it the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce ever.
The interior mirrors the luxury of existing Rolls-Royce models, offering the starlight liner in the door pads and illuminated dashboard panel on the passenger side. The unique ‘Spirit’ software platform controls all car functions, providing a connected car experience. Rolls-Royce allows extensive customization options, showcasing its commitment to luxury and innovation.
