The latest intruder alarm system can shift to full-HD live streams for verifying so that action can be taken quickly and more reliably in case of an activation

Hikvision, a global leader in innovative video surveillance products and solutions, has launched a new range of wireless AXHub intruder alarm systems that is specifically designed to cater to residential and small commercial applications. The latest products is part of the Hikvision AX-Series and seamlessly connect security and video on one-platform.

Speaking on the development, Jiang Feng Zhi, Head of Alarms Division at Hikvision, said, “Hikvision is pioneering the one-platform revolution for security systems that enables HD video verification of events, remote control to arm and disarm the alarm, as well as the ability to switch between alarm system and video like never before.”

Utilise cloud technology

The new product is small, compact and discreet, incorporated with advanced technologies that deliver full control and multi-configuration methods. The system is setup through Hik-Connect smart device application and iVMS as well as video verification via revolutionary Intruder Verification as a Service (IVaaS). The AXHub utilise cloud technology to combine video and intrusion.

As compared to other video verification methods, IVaaS links previously separate video and intruder systems to one platform, provide a 7 second clip in the event of an alarm; 5 seconds pre-alarm, and 2 seconds post alarm.

There are two options in the system to achieve this – through cloud or by directly connecting two cameras to AXHub for on-board verification of video. This allows the video and intrusion systems to smoothly send video footage directly to the user via iVMS or Hik-Connect, or directly to Central Monitoring Station (CMS).

By sending video to users or CMS through email, the latest system can shift to full-HD live streams for verifying so that action can be taken quickly and more reliably in case of an activation. The compatibility with Hik-Connect allows full control of the system from anywhere. Hik-Connect also enables the users to remotely monitor, arm and disarm, as well as check history and get push notifications in the case of any event.

The system is compatible with any Hikvision video and intrusion device that makes it an ideal security solution; covering every vantage point.
