Friday, October 11, 2013: The Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), which is a public sector enterprise that falls under the Department of Atomic Energy, has witnessed the highest ever turnover. They have recorded an all time high of Rs 17.29 billion during the current financial year 2012-13, which is 17 per cent higher than its turnover of Rs 14.74 billion during the FY 2011-12.
The press release stated that P Sudhakar, the chairman and managing director of ECIL along with director (finance) and director (personnel), handed over a cheque for an amount of Rs 64.7 million to Dr R K Sinha, chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and secretary to the Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy towards dividend for the financial year 2012-13, according to a TOI report.
