Applied Ventures Invests In VVDN Technologies To Boost Semiconductor Ecosystem

Applied Ventures, LLC has announced a significant growth equity investment in VVDN Technologies. This strategic funding aims to enhance VVDN’s research and development capabilities in next-generation semiconductor technologies and electronic products.

Dr. Omkaram Nalamasu, Senior Vice President and CTO of Applied Materials, Inc., and President of Applied Ventures, LLC, highlighted the vibrant technology ecosystem in India as a prime opportunity for collaboration with innovative deep-tech companies. “Our investment and collaboration with VVDN align with Applied Ventures’ commitment to advancing India’s electronic product engineering and design capabilities, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and creating a thriving semiconductor ecosystem,” he stated.

Anand Kamannavar, Vice President and Global Head of Applied Ventures, LLC, emphasized VVDN’s strong design and manufacturing capabilities, positioning the company for significant growth in both the Indian and global electronics design and manufacturing industry. “The investment is another step from Applied Ventures in enabling and developing the global semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem,” he added.

Puneet Agarwal, CEO of VVDN Technologies Pvt. Ltd., expressed delight at the strategic investment from Applied Ventures, LLC, which underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and growth in transformative industries. “With Applied Ventures’ support, VVDN is poised to expand its design and manufacturing capabilities to serve global semiconductor and systems companies,” he said.
