As part of the agreement, Agelix will resell and provide consultancy services for the global enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, Epicor ERP, to customers preparing for growth in the manufacturing sector in India.

Agelix specializes in strategic consulting, technology, and outsourcing services across vertical markets, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing cost, and increasing profitability for clients.

The technology firm, which already has an ERP stronghold in the US, will utilize its domain expertise in the manufacturing, supply chain, service and distribution areas for the Indian market.

It will focus on acquiring new customers for Epicor ERP in the manufacturing sector, providing a complete range of services from system requirement assessment, solution consulting, to project management, implementation and support. Epicor will support Agelix with sales enablement training, marketing, and professional services training.

“This new partnership will enable Epicor to meet an increasing demand for ERP solutions among midmarket manufacturers in the region,” said Hesham El Komy, regional vice president, MEAI, Epicor Software for Epicor Software.

“Technology in the manufacturing sector is evolving at a tremendous speed, helped by the Government of India pushing for more Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) which generates transfer of new technology in manufacturing for domestic production. We believe the combination of Agelix’s knowledge and expert services combined with Epicor solutions will be a great fit for Indian manufacturers that want to digitalize and modernize their businesses,” he added.

Commenting on the new partnership, Abinash Parida, CEO, Agelix, said that the innovative and modern technology platform that Epicor ERP provides is well-suited to helping local manufacturers prepare for the future and grow their businesses.
