Panasonic Launches AI enabled Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro Smartphones in India

The new devices come with ARBO Hub which provides users access to multiple apps and services on a single platform and uses AI and Machine Learning to make recommendations

Japan based electronics company Panasonic has announced the launch of its two new smartphones in India. Christened as Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro, the electronics manufacturer claims that both the smartphone models are AI enabled.

Pankaj Rana, business head, mobility division, Panasonic India commenting on the launch said, “The new Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro have been built keeping in mind the technology savvy end user.”

The press release issued by Panasonic mentioned that the new AI enabled Panasonic Eluga Z1 smartphone will be available in a 3GB Ram + 32GB Storage variant and the Panasonic Z1 Pro will be available in a 4GB Ram + 64GB Storage variant. Users can easily upgrade the storage capacity on both the phones by up to 128GB with help of a external SD card.

The rest of the features on the both the AI enabled smartphones remain the same.

Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro are powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processors and come installed with Android 8.1 Oreo operating software. The dual sim configuration in both the phones will allow users to use two networks at the same time.

Panasonic India in a statement said, “The new devices come with ARBO Hub which provides users access to multiple apps and services on a single platform and uses AI and Machine Learning to make recommendations.”

The AI enabled Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro from Panasonic come with 13MP + 2MP AI-powered dual rear camera sensors and a 8MP front camera sensor with flash.

Both models feature a 2.5 curved metal design and have a big 6.19-inch HD+ display. Panasonic has equipped both smartphones with 4000mAh batteries.

Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro pricing and availability

The Panasonic Eluga Z1 will be available at Rs 14,490 while the Panasonic Eluga Z1 Pro will retail at Rs 17,490. Both these phones will go on sale from 31 October, 2018.
