The companies jointly announced at the recent HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, recently held in Shanghai, China.

The cooperation will seamlessly integrate Kaspersky Lab’s security solutions with Huawei’s cloud computing solution to deliver a more comprehensive approach to security and build a more secure ecosystem while providing simplified management and superior performance to data centers and desktop cloud customers.

The newly launched integrated solution is hosted on Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security and Huawei Fusionsphere Products, said  Matvey Voytov, Global Cloud Security Director of Kaspersky Lab.

Huawei FusionSphere provides customers with simple and optimal virtualization and VDI services. After integrating with Kaspersky Security Solutions, they can provide agentless security protection solution for virtual machine scenarios and lightweight agent security for virtual machine + VDI scenarios, offering customers multi-level, granular and robust security without compromising productivity.

Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager, South Asia, Kaspersky Lab said: “Huawei is a leading provider of cloud computing solutions for network equipment. As a leader in information security, Kaspersky Lab is pleased to start a comprehensive cooperation with Huawei in the field of cloud computing security.”

“We are looking forward to have such redefining associations in India as well to provide better security for the country’s cloud computing users,” Bhayani added.

As more and more enterprise users are moving their business to the cloud, enterprise data security and application security in the cloud are a great challenge for all cloud service providers, opined  Huawei’s Vice President of Sales for Enterprise Data Center Solutions.

“With its leading cloud computing technology, Huawei is working with partners to continuously improve the cloud security protection. Kaspersky Lab is a leader in information security with the most advanced anti-virus technology and first-class software R&D capabilities. Together, we will strive to meet the growing demand of cloud security and provide efficient and secure virtualization and VDI services to enterprise customers,”  the Vice President added.
