Tisva designer lighting brand intros in Delhi

Monday, April 28, 2014: Usha International Ltd, has launched the product store for lighting products under its ‘Tisva’ brand in Delhi. The company has also revealed its plans to launch 20 exclusive stores by September. Tisva products by Usha International Ltd will be available across 100 multi-brand stores and 2,000 retail outlets across the country.

The store launched in Delhi last week was the second brand store, the first being in Chandigarh. Speaking to PTI, Rajesh Kocchar, president, Tisva, said, “In the first year, we would have 20 stores, which would be the brand stores. In addition to that we would be available at 100 multi-brand stores and 2,000 retail outlets for our utility products.”

“Our next set of stores would be at Gurgaon, Noida, one more in Delhi and Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai etc,” he added. The official said the stores would be based on a mix of company-owned and franchise model.

With this range of premium lighting products, the company is looking to target the middle and upper middle segment and specially the youth. Tisva offers products ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 40,000, including LED designer range, chandeliers, wall lights, mood lighting, pendents and the utility products as well including CFL, LED lamps, T5 batterns and downlights. “Our products are perfectly priced after research six major cities. We want to offer a product which gives great value with aesthetics and latest technology,” Kocchar added.

It is to be clarified that Usha International Ltd has launched lighting products under the separate brand TISVA and not under its existing well known brand USHA/USHA logo. USHA as a trade mark is in no way associated with any kind of lighting products.
