The company claims that their Solarizer Ultra system will combine the benefits of Emmvee’s glass enameled tank technology with a heat exchanger system to provide a solution for consumers in hard water areas.

Considering the growing demand for high-pressure solutions and the brunt of hard water in homes, Emmvee Solar, manufacturer of solar water heaters in India, in a joint venture with Solarcap Denmark, has announced the launch of a new range of its Solarizer brand.

Commenting on the launch, D V Manjunatha, founder and managing director, Emmvee said, “With the majority of new homes relying on bore-well water, hard water and its corrosive effects are becoming a major concern for customers when choosing water heaters.” He further added, “At the same time more and more new home owners are upgrading their bathrooms to the latest hi-tech fittings which require high pressure to fully realise their benefits.”

The company claims that their Solarizer Ultra system will combine the benefits of Emmvee’s glass enameled tank technology with a heat exchanger system to provide a solution for consumers in hard water areas. The solution is said to last longer in comparison to other solutions available in the market. Glass enameling gives a corrosion free finish to steel to prevent rust and the build-up of bacteria. It has become the standard in markets like Europe, however, only Emmvee is offering this technology in India. A heat exchanger is an indirect method of heating which circulates a specially formulated fluid rather than water, avoiding the risk of blockages.

Manjunatha added, “Our new Solarizer Spring product will meet the needs of customers looking for a high pressure system that meets the highest quality and safety standards.” Emmvee’s new Solarizer range will also feature an all-new solar collector that brings two new technologies to the Indian market. Firstly, it incorporates a high selective full plate absorber, produced using a state-of-the-art laser welding process to give a surface that absorbs solar radiation more efficiently. Secondly, it uses the latest solar glass that boasts higher transmission for improved water heating -even in cloudy conditions.
