NLC has also scheduled a pre-bid meeting on January 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM (IST).

NLC India Limited has initiated a significant project, seeking online bids for the establishment of a 100 MW ISTS (Inter-State Transmission System) connected Solar Power Project, extending across India. This project also encompasses operation and maintenance services for a duration of three years. The tendering process for this project will be conducted using the e-Tendering method, employing a two-cover system to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process.

Interested bidders are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 20,000/- to obtain the tender document. This fee is a standard procedure in tender processes to ensure the seriousness and commitment of the bidders. Furthermore, a bid guarantee of Rs. 2,46,30,000/- is mandatory for participation in the bidding process. This guarantee serves as a financial commitment from the bidders, assuring their capability and intention to undertake the project if selected.

NLC India has also scheduled a pre-bid meeting on January 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM (IST), which will be conducted via Video Conference. This meeting is crucial for clarifying any queries potential bidders might have and for discussing the tender details. It provides a platform for transparent communication between NLC India Limited and the interested parties.

The deadline for the submission of online bids, including Part-I, Part-II, and the physical cover, is set for January 18, 2024, at 2:30 PM (IST). On the same day, the opening of Part-I and the physical cover will occur at 3:00 PM (IST). However, the date and time for the opening of Part-II, which involves the Price Bids, will be announced later.

This project is part of a broader initiative by NLC India Limited to promote the deployment of solar power across the nation. By adopting a transparent and competitive bidding process, the company aims to ensure the efficient and effective setup of the solar power project, along with its maintenance over the specified three-year period. This initiative reflects the growing emphasis on sustainable energy sources in India and the country’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy infrastructure.
