Adit Infratel Private Limited, one of the leading players in mobile accessories and peripherals market had made an announcement on Thursday, 10 March regarding the setup of India’s first lithium polymer embedded battery manufacturing facility at Manesar, Haryana.
The initiative involves a total investment of Rs 25 crores and is linked with the Indian government’s Make in India campaign for boosting local manufacturing, reduce dependency on imports and create large scale impact on the domestic economy via job and wealth creation.
Mr. Pankaj Sachdeva, Director & Promoter of Adit Infratel Pvt Ltd. added that, “This was our vision since the beginning and it has come true at the right point of time. Setting up a factory like this would definitely help the domestic handset manufacturers with mobile batteries of global standards. With the setting up of this unit, we can say that we are even ready to cater to the demand of the International markets and would be looking forward for tie ups. Some of them are already on the phase 1 of discussions.”
The facility is stretched over 10000 square feet with an installed capacity for manufacturing 60,000 mobile batteries and 20,000 mobile chargers per day. The company’s Manesar facility as well as its unit in Parwanoo will jointly produce 95,000 mobile batteries, 25,000 mobile chargers and 4000 power banks every day.
Adit Infratel Private Limited is aiming to create Rs.335 crores of revenue from the facility over the coming 4 years.
