Fujitsu Signs Agreement with Tech Data to Distribute Products in India

The distribution agreement with Fujitsu enables Tech Data to offer Fujitsu India’s complete portfolio of end-to-end solutions to Indian customers

Fujitsu India Private Limited, a part of the leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company – Fujitsu Group, announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Tech Data to market and distribute the company’s entire product portfolio of IT products, solutions and related services across India.

Tech Data’s local partners can now get easier access of Fujitsu’s product portfolio including notebooks, desktops and more complex data centre solutions. The partners will be provided with the opportunity to join the Select Partner Program of Fujitsu.

The Program is designed for supporting the company’s channel partners to shift from resellers to the providers of managed services by aiding them in adopting new opportunities. Thus, they can become the trusted advisors to guide their clients on digital transformation journey.

To help expand the reach in market

Commenting on the partnership, Sundaresan Kanappan, Vice President and Country General Manager, India, Tech Data, said, “This distribution agreement with Fujitsu enables Tech Data to offer Fujitsu India’s complete portfolio of end-to-end solutions to our Indian customers. Our best-in-class technical capabilities and strong distribution network will help expand Fujitsu’s reach and penetration in the local market.”

Mehul Doshi, Head of Product Business at Fujitsu India, said, “We are pleased to announce our association with Tech Data and this partnership is important to Fujitsu’s distribution portfolio. Tech Data’s leadership, excellence in marketing and sales of IT solutions will help us to expand the market for our products.”

He further said, “We look forward to a strong partnership with Tech Data and a steady market growth for our products, services and solutions in India. Fujitsu will provide a selection of interesting options in the field of private, public and hybrid cloud, hyper-converged solutions, integrated systems for backup and archiving along with our comprehensive range of products and solutions.”
