Wednesday, March 19, 2014: In partnership with Indian distributor Embedded Systems Solutions, XJTAG recently hosted its ‘Introduction to Boundary Scan’ workshop in Bangalore. Due to extremely high demand, an additional workshop was held shortly after.
The workshops provided a hands-on introduction to testing with JTAG Boundary Scan and the IEEE 1149.x Standard. Covering everything from the history and JTAG to board setup, test development and coverage analysis, the sessions are ideal for engineers wanting to improve designs, reduce respins and enhance test coverage.
Responses from the session in Bangalore were overwhelmingly positive, for both workshop and product. “The workshop gave us a deep knowledge about XJTAG,” said one attendee. “The hands-on training helped us understand the tools,” said another. Over 90 percent of engineers said the workshop was of high relevance to their current work, with most working on complex boards containing processors, FPGAs and I2Cs.
