The UP government will sign at least 17 MoUs with companies like Titan Aviation and Aerospace India Limited, SpiceJet Technic Private Limited and Central Railside Warehouse Company Limited in the Defence Expo. A major part of the MoUs will cater to units that will be set up in the defence corridor.
A senior official said that the MoUs will be signed on 7th February. The UP government will sign MoUs with Ancor Research Labs LLP and OshoCorp Global Pvt Ltd. Other organisations taking part will include National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd, Viitor Cloud Technologies, Tata Technologies Ltd and MSK Business Solutions Private Limited.

Ancor Research Labs LLP designs electronics and software while OshoCorp Global Pvt Ltd claims to have received multiple defence industrial licenses from the government for manufacturing-restricted sensitive defence systems. The defence corridor will cover Aligarh, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Kanpur, Lucknow and Agra. Titan Aviation is likely to invest Rs 38,000 crore.
Maintenance, repair and overhaul facility
A senior official associated with the defence corridor said that the government has joined hands with Titan Aviation and Aerospace India Limited for a maintenance, repair and overhaul facility and manufacturing industry. Titan Aviation and Aerospace has asked for 6,000-acre land at the Jhansi node for the project as per reports. Hans Energy Systems has asked for two acres at Kanpur node for manufacturing physical security-related smart equipment. Ancor has asked for 20 acres at Aligarh node for research and development in aerospace and defence.
