The latest in laser marking systems

Wednesday, January 08, 2014: Laser marking is a method used for labelling various kinds of objects like PCBs. A laser beam is used to change the surface structure of the solder resist to give a clear and permanent marking on the PCB. The marking can be for machine-readable codes or text, graphics and logos, and the automated process helps to write the data for each PCB directly. These codes can easily be read by other machines.

Model: NTM5510-X, Brand: Nutek, Manufacturer: Nutek Pte Ltd, Singapore

Launched in January 2013, this laser marking cell series 3—NTM5510-X— is specially designed to accurately mark PCB within a production line or as a stand alone system. The PCB is locked in its marking position while the CO2 laser is moved using servo controlled X-Y axis.
