April 25, 2015: Stratasys India, a subsidiary of Stratasys Ltd., a global leader of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions has announced the inauguration of its first 3D Printing Experience Center in Bangalore, India, strengthening local footprints and providing wider access of the technologies and applications to the market; aimed at addressing the growing demand the company observes in India. The establishment signifies Stratasys’ commitment to the region.  Fully-facilitated with Stratasys full product range, the Center offers local businesses an opportunity to gain better insights into the value of 3D printing solutions.

Located in Bangalore, the new 3D Printing Experience Center was inaugurated on 23 April, 2015 at a grand opening event joined by valued customers and channel partners.  “We believe 3D printing is an exciting prospect in India. From producing plastic prototypes to 3D printing fully-functional end parts, India is undergoing transformation in manufacturing. With the government’s thrust on the ‘Make in India’ campaign and a GDP growth rate of 8% in India by 2017 as per the World Bank report, additive manufacturing is a catalyst to bolster up local businesses’ global competitiveness. Leveraging our expertise and know-how, the 3D Printing Experience Centre strengthens Stratasys presence in India, providing innovative 3D printing solutions and applications specially engineered for the manufacturing industry,” said Rajiv Bajaj, General Manager, Stratasys India.

The 3D Printing Experience Centre features Stratasys’ latest cutting-edge 3D printing technologies – PolyJet and Fused Deposition Modeling, showcasing its full product portfolio, solutions and applications, thus enabling designers and engineers to create models and prototypes for new product design and testing and to build finished goods. The Centre also exhibits Stratasys’ comprehensive range of 3D printing materials – PolyJet photopolymers and FDM thermoplastics.
