Recently Solectria Renewables LLC (Lawrence, Massachusetts, U.S.) announced that it has increased its number of employees by 65 per cent in 2011, with plans to expand more than 50 per cent again in 2012.
The company stated that it has been able to rapidly grow its customer base, and credits cost reductions, increasing inverter efficiencies and accelerated new product development.
“Solectria Renewables is proud of its persistent growth and expansion in North America and worldwide, especially during the worldwide economic decline,” stated James Worden, CEO, Solectria Renewables. “Currently, we have 25 open positions in various departments in North America.”
“We will be adding sales, customer service, engineering and manufacturing positions in the coming months to also support our factories in the expanding Indian and Chinese markets.”
The company also announced that it will open manufacturing plants in China and India with annual capacities of 300 and 200 MW of inverters, respectively.
