PCBPOWER MARKET (an e-commerce platform) is where customers will be able to buy components online from various vendors based in India. Manufacturers of active and passive components, batteries, cables, mechanical parts and consumables can list their products on this platform along with their best possible price

PCBPOWER/Circuit Systems India Ltd (CSIL) has come up with an innovative concept—the company has built an online e-commerce platform for buyers and sellers of electronic components. PCBPOWER has been selling PCBs, stencil printers, soldering equipment, etc, online since the last 10 years and has a 25,000-strong customer base, which is growing daily. While interacting with its customers, the company realised that many wanted a platform to buy electronic components online. And this led to the building of PCBPOWER MARKET.

According to Khushal Panchal, VP, PCBPOWER/Circuit Systems India Ltd, “We have rich experience in selling products online. We have been doing this since the last 10 years and when we realised that our customers were also seeking electronic components online, we thought of coming up with an e-commerce platform where someone in Kerala could order electronic components online from a manufacturer or distributor in Delhi. We will take care of the logistics, which means once the order is placed, the sellers get to know of this online, either via SMS or email, prompting them to pack the goods that our logistics person will collect and ensure that it reaches the customer within the time-frame committed to.”

The logistics will be outsourced to proven partners of PCBPOWER, and the company has already identified 100 electronic component suppliers and manufacturers across the country. This number is expected to reach 1,000 within a year, which would mean a bouquet of more than one million electronic components available for customers to choose from on the e-commerce site.

PCBPOWER will have a soft launch of this e-commerce site at the EFY Expo in Bengaluru, which is to be held from January 11 to 13, 2016.
“I feel that it would be a great time to launch this e-commerce platform and we hope that this one-of-a-kind initiative will be appreciated by the industry,” says Panchal.

“PCBPOWER MARKET is a place where customers will be able to buy components online from various vendors based across India. Manufacturers of active and passive components, batteries, cables, mechanical parts and consumables can list their products on the MARKET along with their best possible prices. PCBPOWER MARKET will work very closely with vendors to ensure that service levels and product quality are the best in the industry and reliability is not compromised. Customers will choose and buy components as per their requirements. PCBPOWER MARKET will be responsible for the logistics and transactions. We have created a massive infrastructure and invested heavily in this system,” adds Panchal.
The company has set up a dedicated team of seven professionals for this initiative. It will be expanding this team as per the requirements in the coming fiscal year.

PCBPOWER today sells close to 70 per cent of its products online and this is an indicator of the firm’s competence in this segment. Panchal feels that this initiative will go a long way in helping customers access all the components they need.
