Okaya EV Unveils Motofaast 35 At A Price Of Rs 1.42 lakh

The Motofaast 35 comes in a range of six colour options: Metallic Cyan, Metallic Red, Metallic White, Metallic Silver, Matte Green, and Metallic Black.

Okaya EV, an electric vehicle company in India, has announced the availability of its scooter, Motofaast 35, in various cities nationwide. The Motofaast 35, featuring a unique ‘Scoobike’ design, is now available, combining the comfort and design of a scooter with the performance aspects of a motorcycle.

This model introduces a design that aims to offer a new riding experience, merging the ease of a scooter with motorcycle elements, and is designed to provide a comfortable and enhanced handling experience. The Motofaast 35 is available for test rides in cities in Delhi, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Orrisa, Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar through the Okaya EV website. It boasts a range of 110 – 130 km on a single charge and can reach speeds of up to 70 kmph, depending on the load.

The scooter delivers a maximum power output of 2300W and includes a dual battery system with a total capacity of 3.53 kWh, using LFP battery technology known for its safety, especially in high-temperature conditions in India. An additional safety feature is an incident buzzer that alerts riders of potential thermal runaway situations at least 5 minutes in advance. The scooter also includes a 3-year/30,000 km warranty covering the battery and motor and features a disc braking system for both rear and front wheels.

Okaya EV’s Motofaast 35 is now available at authorized dealerships in the specified cities, presenting an opportunity for sustainable urban commuting. It is priced at INR 1,41,999 (ex-showroom) and comes in six colours: Metallic Cyan, Metallic Red, Metallic White, Metallic Silver, Matt Green, and Metallic Black.

The Motofaast 35 is designed for both aesthetic appeal and safety, with a high-capacity LFP battery that ensures safety in high temperatures. The battery supports over 2000 cycles, offering durability. The scooter provides a range of 110 – 130 km with a top speed of 70 km/hr and features three driving modes: Eco, City, & Sports. It charges in 4-5 hours.

The scooter is designed for improved performance and a smooth experience, suitable for city riding. It includes 12-inch tubeless tyres, diamond-cut alloys, disc brakes, telescopic suspension in the front, and spring-loaded hydraulic shock absorbers in the rear.

Technology-wise, the Motofaast 35 features a 7-inch touchscreen display with a 2 GHz processor and 3 GB of RAM, providing a user-friendly interface and smooth navigation. It supports GPS navigation, vehicle stats monitoring, and connectivity with smartphones through the OKAYA EV APP, offering convenience and connectivity for riders.
