Micro Technologies launched futuristic security system for banking sector

Micro Technologies (India) Ltd. launched an innovative product for the banking sector—Micro ABB on during the Cop-Community Connect seminar held recently. The launch took place at Indian Merchants Chamber, Mumbai in the presence of noted national and international security experts like Werner Blessing, CEO, Biometry, Pravin Dixit, Principal Secrtary Home Dept (GOM), International Forensic Expert Rukmani Krishnamurthy, Technical Advisor(Govt. of Maharashtra) and Prabhat Rahangdale, Regional Fire Officer, Mumbai.

Micro Technologies partnered with New Media for this launch of nationwide security seminars which commenced with Mumbai. The National Seminar will act as an effective platform for exchange of views and ideas by security experts and analyst to work out comprehensive security strategies. To substantiate this initiative and to add a new dimension for banking security, Micro Technologies launched Micro ABB at the event.

According to industry estimates, over 2.3 million ATMs around the world of which 72,000 are reported to be in India. However, thefts at the ATM centres are one of the serious issues. Micro ABB is a unique, state of the art and advanced security systems developed for the banking sector, securing ATM machines and providing energy efficient technology for ATM centres. It sends alert SMS to the registered user in case of intrusion occurred due to fire, vibration, door open and motion. Micro ABB comes with life support feature like Wireless Panic Switch, which can be used by the guard in case of emergency. It is also integrated with the biometric based attendance system wherein the guard attendance will be recorded to minimize the time theft.

Micro Technologies has received test certification for maintaining international standard for its innovative product Micro ABB. Besides, Micro ABB has been successfully installed in ATMs of many international banks that are showing satisfactory results.
