Latest Apple iPhone XR to go on Sale in India Today

While the iPhone XS carries a price tag of Rs 91,788 and iPhone XS Max costs Rs 99,300 in India, the iPhone XR model will start at Rs. 76,900 in the country

iPhone XR will be available for buying in India post 6PM, Indian Standard Time, today. Consumers can buy the lastest Apple iPhone XR via both online and offline stores. Apple had announced the release of iPhone XR at it’s keynote held last month. The silicon valley giant had started accepting pre-orders for iPhone XR on October 19.

Apple’s latest offering is the most economical variant among the current lineup of iPhones. While the iPhone XS carries a price tag of Rs 91,788 and iPhone XS Max costs Rs 99,300 in India, the iPhone XR model will start at Rs. 76,900 in the country.

Apple iPhone XR availability

The latest model of Apple smartphone will be available on several e-commerce platforms including Flipkart and Amazon. Consumers can also buy the same via diferent deals launched by netwrok carriers like Reliance Jio and Airtel.

Imagine, iWorld and Unicorn are among the offline resellers where users can also purchase latest version of the iPhone. It is believed that the customers who pre-ordered the phone will be receiving the units today.

iPhone XR launch offers

Airtel online store is currently offering the Apple iPhone XR at a starting down-payment of Rs 14,999. Vodafone and Idea announced that customers with Rs 499 rental plans and above are eligible for ordering iPhone XR at 20 per cent rental discount for a year.

Bajaj FinServ in collabortaion with IndiaiStore, Apple’s official offline partner in India is offering the iPhone XR at no cost EMI plans. Citibank and Axis Bank are giving an cashback of five per cent for users who use their Axis or Citibank credit cards for purchasing the latest iPhone XR.

iPhone XR features

Priced significantly lower than the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR boosts features like Apple’s latest A12 Bionic SoC, a single rear camera, 6.1-inch LCD Liquid Retina display and colour options.

Apple has said that the iPhone XR will support wireless charging and will come in a water and dust resistant design. iPhone XR uses the same processor found in iPhone XS and XS Plus.

Apple iPhone XR India price

The base model of iPhone XR with 64GB storage option will be retailed at Rs. 76,900 while the 128GB storage iPhone XR variant will carry a price tag of Rs 81,900. The top-end iPhone XR with 256GB storage option will cost users Rs. 91,900.

Consumers will have options of choosing the iPhone XR between black, coral, yellow, blue, white and product red colors. This is the first time that Apple iPhone XR is going on sale in India.
