Kaynes Technology is a leading player in the electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM) services space with a global footprint. Apart from its mother plant and additional manufacturing facilities at Mysuru, it has six other manufacturing plants at Bengaluru, Chennai, Manesar, Parwanoo, Dehradun and Navi Mumbai.
The company was established in 1988 by Ramesh Kannan soon after his graduation from the National Institute of Engineering. He always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and some companies in the Mysuru region such as L&T and Wipro had good vendor development programmes that offered a perfect opportunity for his ambitions.

Complete customer centricity, transparency, systems development, global certifications and, most importantly, providing end-to-end manufacturing as well as design services support, backed by after-sales services, all add up to a unique proposition. Kaynes’ wide range of skills in technology transfer, manufacturing, development, competence in the emerging design services areas of IoT, board design, as well as its newly developed capability in systems integration on electronic packaging are a testimony of its global standards and competitiveness. Its capability in high tech wiring harnesses and cables places it high on the list of preferred suppliers for most companies looking for a professional electronics manufacturing and design services firm. “We have an in-house team for complete quality testing and certifications including CE, UL, TUV, FDA, etc. We have in-house facilities for electrical testing, thermal cycling, environmental testing, etc,” says Ramesh Kannan.
