Huawei Launches Two New Smart Wearables With Advanced Features

The Huawei Watch GT is engineered with an advanced smart power-saving algorithm that enables the smartwatch to dynamically switch between performance and efficiency modes

Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) announced on Wednesday the launch of its two new wearables – Huawei Watch GT and Huawei Band 3 Pro. The new wearables are specifically designed for urban explorers and offer innovative and sophisticated ways for users to track their activities and they can also receive fitness coaching, based on scientific research.

The Huawei Watch GT features a classic wristwatch design with ultra-high battery life and low power consumption. The smartwatch is also incorporated with sophisticated activity tracking and fitness coaching features. This smart activity tracker is designed for today’s urban explorers and addressed one of the major common problems with wearables, i.e., battery life.

The Huawei Watch GT is engineered with an advanced smart power-saving algorithm that enables the smartwatch to dynamically switch between performance and efficiency modes, according to the activity of the user, for maximum battery life. In addition, the smartwatch sports a unique design, with 1.39-inch 454×254 AMOLED high resolution display, and a dual-crown design with stainless steel and ceramic bezels.

New advanced features

For precise positioning, the Huawei Watch GT can simultaneously tap into GPS, GALILEO and GLONASS, three major satellite positioning systems. The smartwatch also supports all-round tracking of sports activity. It is enabled to track a range of sports such as indoor exercises, outdoor running, cycling, mountain climbing and open water swimming. The fitness coaching feature of smartwatch analyses the heart rate of consumers using scientific methods and let them help in exercising more safely and healthily.

Smart fitness band to monitor heart rate

HUAWEI Band 3 Pro is a new smart wristband that support a range of accurate and professional monitoring of heart rate and sleep pattern. With HUAWEI TruSeen™3.0, the new wristband precisely monitors the heart rate of the consumer all through the day. The company also pioneered the usage of infrared (IR) sensors for accurate tracking of the user’s heart rate without the use of obtrusive lights of conventional trackers.

With HUAWEI TruSleep™2.0, the new fitness band can accurately track the user’s sleeping patterns. In addition, the tracker uses big data analysis to offer personalised soltions and suggestions that enables the users to improve their sleep quality.
