Focus on start-ups

Commenting on the development, Chua Chee Seong, President and Managing Director, Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., said, “Infineon offers a wide range of microelectronics that connects the digital world of data with the real world of things, from sensors to security chips. The company’s collaboration with Arrow will offer start-ups the capabilities and innovations to develop the next generation of intelligent and intuitive devices.”

Natarajan MM, Vice President – Sales for South Asia of Arrow’s Asia-Pacific business, said, “Start-ups have been constantly facing challenges to stay ahead of the game as the technologies have rapidly evolved in the last few years.”

“They are often in need of engineering expertise, especially in areas such as wireless connectivity, sensing and controlling and system integration. This is where Arrow can come in to bridge these knowledge gaps and accelerate turning innovative ideas to impactful inventions/businesses,” said Natarajan.

He further said that Arrow is excited to extend its long-standing partnership with Infineon and put a vast range of innovative products by Infineon in the hands of engineers and innovators, particularly in the fields of robotics, autonomous car, industry 4.0, electrified low-speed vehicles and smart home and city applications.

Arrow is devoted to supporting the start-up ecosystem in Singapore, including announcing a partnership with Singapore-based Internet of Things (IoT) accelerator AIRmaker. The company has been assisting in making the AIRmaker program for start-ups more effective and productive in their idea-to-impact solutions journey.
