Top 15 EMS companies in India

We are once again ranking the EMS companies operating in India, and are pleased to see their good performance in 2010-11 in comparison to their performance in 2009-10. We observed some significant changes this year while we ranked them based on their 2010-11 and 2011-12 turnovers. While Sanmina-SCI rose from the third position to the No 1 spot, Jabil Circuit India moved a position lower. SFO Technologies moved up to third spot while Dixon Technologies moved two positions lower, ranking fourth in the list. Also, NTL Electronics, Flextronics Technologies, Elin Electronics and Kaynes Technology maintained their positions. We regret that we could not rank all the companies based on the latest financial year’s revenues, as many have not filed their latest revenues with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, which is our source of information that is subsequently verified by individual companies. Some major companies have been left out of the ranking as we could not procure their balance sheets from the MCA website, and some companies declined to disclose their revenues. Disclaimer: While this survey is by no means comprehensive, it does provide a glimpse into many of India’s key EMS companies. While Electronics Bazaar’s editorial team has taken the utmost care to contact all possible sources to make the list comprehensive, we may have inadvertently left out a few companies from this list. Information contained in the following report has been obtained from sources deemed reliable, and Electronics Bazaar makes no claims with respect to its accuracy. Leading CCTV camera manufacturers in India

According to Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), the video surveillance and closed circuit television (CCTV) camera market in India is likely to reach Rs 22 billion by 2015. Growing at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 30 per cent, this industry is going to emerge as a huge market in the coming years. Currently, demand from the government and the public, followed by the industrial and commercial sectors, has fuelled the growth of the CCTV camera market. The Indian electronics security industry is largely imports based with a handful of indigenous manufacturers struggling to survive in a market full of giant global players and an unorganised open market. Though this segment still has a long way to go to match the standards of the developed world, it is expanding fast. Electronics Bazaar highlights the prominent CCTV camera manufacturers, the leading CCTV camera distributors and the leading CCTV camera brands in India. Unfortunately, since the revenues of most of the companies could not be procured, we could not rank the companies. Hence, we have featured them alphabetically. Disclaimer: While the Electronics Bazaar editorial team has taken utmost care to contact all possible sources to make the list comprehensive, we may have inadvertently left out a few companies from this list.
