Power management company Eaton’s eMobility business has teamed up with U.S.-based manufacturing services company Jabil to produce electromechanical and printed circuit board assemblies. Eaton said that the decision to partner with Jabil is based on several factors. One of the reasons for the tie-up is addition of the surface-mount technology production capacity needed for the expected increase in global electronic circuit demand as per the company.

Jeff Lowinger, president, eMobility, Eaton said, “Jabil is a leading manufacturing solutions provider with a global footprint similar to Eaton’s. Its international presence offers flexibility to scale production around the world, when and where we need it. This partnership will benefit our customers through world-class quality and improved speed of production.”
