Haier Launches Premium Segment Slim and Curved LED TVs

The home appliances and consumer electronics manufacturing company claims that the new LED TV range boosts advanced features such as 4K UHD and HDR display

China based home appliances and consumer electronics manufacturer Haier has announced the lauch of Quantum Dot 4K Slim LED and Quantum Dot 4K Curved LED TVs in India. The company claims that the new range boosts advanced features such as 4K UHD and HDR display.

The launch includes 55-inch and 65-inch variants in the slim and curved premium LED TVs category.

Haier India President, Eric Braganza, speaking on the launch said, “With the launch of Haier Quantum Dot televisions, we are augmenting our premium LED TV range to deliver the best picture quality and an immersive experience that never fades. With options to choose from Slim and Curved displays, this range is designed to offer brilliant design, richer colours and deeper contrasts to bring to life the true colours of India”.

The latest range of Haier Quantum Dot 4K Slim LED and Quantum Dot 4K Curved LED TVs is available at a starting price of Rs Rs 2,09,990. New Haier LED TVs will compete against the premium LED TVs from Panasonic, Sony, Samsung and LG in India.

Haier has priced the 55-inch curved variant at Rs 2,09,990 while the 55-inch slim variant has a price tag of Rs 2,19,990. The 65-inch variant of the new Haier curved, and slim LED smart TVs will be available for Rs 2,59,990 and Rs 2,69,990, respectively.

Connectivity

Haier Quantum Dot 4K TVs come integrated with an in-built Wi-Fi system that consumers can use to access content from the internet. The latest range of slim and curved LED TVs also bost a smart share feature that can be used to connect smartphones in order to stream mobile content like videos, photos on a larger screen.

Additionally, the new Haier LED TVs feature a Dolby Decoder, a smart remote with a QWERTY Keypad and “Shake the remote” feature.
