Hella India

Manufactures: OEM, automotive electronics, lighting solutions

Hella India has expanded its Dhankot, Haryana facility to provide to its electronics business division. Hella aims at harnessing its global technology and customising it for Indian OEMs. The expansion of facility aims at meeting the rising demands of local customers. For the expansion, Hella has introduced SMT lines for its focus products, body control module and remote key entry for Indian customers. Other machines introduced are pick place machine, reflow oven, auto optical inspection machine and PCB handling machine. The Dhankot plant covers an area of 46600 sqm and employs 800 staff.

Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt Ltd

Manufactures: Air conditioners

Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt Ltd will open a new manufacturing facility in India which will be the second one in country. The Japanese airconditioning maker will spend Rs 3.3 billion for the purpose of expansion. However, the location of the new plant has not been decided yet. The company already has a manufacturing unit in Neemrana, Rajasthan and for the second unit Daikin is planning to double the capacity.

TE Connectivity Ltd

Manufactures: Passive components, connector components, fiber optics, relays and switches

TE Connectivity Ltd, an MNC, is planning to establish a manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, India. The company will invest Rs 3000 million for its 26000 sqm manufacturing unit. The company intends to commence stamping, moulding, assembling and packaging operations at the new plant.

Deki Electronics Ltd

Manufactures: Film capacitor solutions

Deki Electronics Ltd is expanding it manufacturing capacity. The company is coming up with a new manufacturing facility in Noida, close to its existing plant. Scaling up its capacity to 30 per cent, the company will start its manufacturing operations from December 2014.
