EB: Have you appointed distributors in India? What is the criteria to become a distributor of DongGuang?

At the moment, we do not have distributors in India but we do plan to set up an office in India when the time is right. We would like to see growth in order amounts and solid feasible business plans before we appoint any distributors. Potential distributors should ideally have prior experience in selling same or similar

EB: What are the products you are exporting presently to India?

We sell semiconductor power devices to India, namely, the transistor 1300x series and triacs. We export our goods directly to our customers in India.

EB: What are the unique selling points of your products?

We manufacture our power devices through our vertical production line, which covers product design, chip fabrication, pack aging, testing, marketing and after sales services. Compared to international branded products, we have the advantage of price. Also, the quality of our products is superior to the quality of those products that are sold at extremely low prices. Jiangsu DongGuang is a direct and well established manufacturer and customers can be assured of quality and price of products.

EB: What are your plans for the India market?

We would like to increase substantially our export to India and plan to participate in various exhibitions to generate more business. We are also making efforts to have more direct contact with potential customers or partners in India. We are also amidst discussions with some potential business partners for possible distributors.

EB:What kind of recessionary impacts are you witnessing in China?

Due to the ongoing recession, some of our orders from the domestic market are witnessing a decline. However, there has been an increase in orders for certain products. Despite the slowdown, we are confident that we can increase our business in the Indian region.

“We manufacture our power devices through our vertical production line, which covers product design, chip fabrication, packaging, testing, marketing and after sales services. Compared to international branded products, we have the advantage of price”

EB: How quality conscious are you when it comes to manufacturing? How green are your products?

We value quality and give priority to it in our manufacturing. DongGuang has received the ISO environmental quality system certification and our products have passed various tests and received certifications such as UL safety, RoHS, PAHs and TUV.
