Tata Power Solar Launches Residential Rooftop Solution in Gandhinagar

The latest residential rooftop solutions will further reinforce Tata Power Solar’s position in the solar rooftop segment

Tata Power Solar, largest solar energy company in India and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, launched a complete residential solar rooftop solution in Gandhinagar in the state of Gujarat.

The residential rooftop solutions are likely to help save around Rs 50,000 per annum for 25 years.

Commenting on the development, Praveer Sinha, MD & CEO, Tata Power, said, “After the successful launch of residential rooftop solution at Delhi, Mumbai, Ajmer, and Bhubaneswar, we are happy to offer solar rooftop to generate easy and cost-effective solutions for the residential consumers at Gandhinagar now. We urge all Gujarat customers to take full benefit of this service.”

Cost-effective solutions

Ashish Khanna, President, Tata Power (Renewables), said, “It is our endeavor to provide knowledge of commercial benefits as well as quality aspects of solar roof top installation to our residential consumers. We are hopeful that with initiatives like these and our offering of cost-effective rooftop solutions, we will help consumers in energy conservation as well as savings in power costs. This will also achieve our company’s objective of always remaining No. 1 rooftop player in India.”

The residential rooftop solutions of Tata Power Solar reduce the use of diesel generators, thereby leading to more savings on fuel. In addition, the customers can get a chance to benefit by utilising the idle space of their rooftops. To further ease the expenses of beneficiaries, the scheme comes with subsidy from the government.

Strong channel partner network

Tata Power Solar has a strong network of more than 150 sales and service channel partners all over India that provides the consumers with financing opportunities.

The latest residential rooftop solutions will further reinforce the company’s position in the solar rooftop segment. It has recently launched this solution in Mumbai and Delhi and has got a good response from the residential segment.

Recently, Tata Power Solar partnered with the Cricket Club of India and installed the world’s biggest solar powered Cricket Stadium in Mumbai, in a record time of only 100 days.
