Cyient and Suntech intend to jointly pursue business opportunities globally in the communications industry by leveraging their technical proficiency, market reach, and domain knowledge
Hyderabad headquartered Cyient announced that it has entered a non-exclusive business alliance with Poland based Suntech Solutions. The companies claim that the agreement will enable Suntech and Cyient to jointly pursue business opportunities in the communications industry, globally.
Piotr Saczuk, CEO, Suntech, said, “The combination of our ingenious technology with Cyient’s mature engineering, design, and delivery capabilities presents new opportunities for both companies within the communications industry, as well as other markets, such as manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, and transportation.”
A press release issued by Cyient claims that the company’s expertise in system integration, operational excellence and global delivery model combined with Suntech’s advanced and specialized technology will offer customers best in class operations support systems solutions (OSS).
Sanjay Krishnaa, senior vice president, Communications, and President, Asia Pacific at Cyient said, “We are delighted to be partnering with Suntech to further expand the solutions we offer. Suntech’s technology will enable us to support global OSS transformation initiatives that will improve asset and network optimization for our clients.”
India based Cyient had earlier made news by appointing Vikas Sehgal as an independent director and Peter F.Longo as its chairman.
Mr Vikas Sehgal has been working as an advisor to the Government of India. He was working closely with the office of the Prime Minister of India, the Ministry of Heavy Industries and the Ministry of Trade and Commerce. Mr. Longo’s was last working as senior vice president of operations in United Technologies Corporation.
Cyient offers solutions to complex business problems with help of digital technology and advanced analytics capabilities. Suntech Solutions on the other hand, is counted among the global suppliers of OSS/BSS applications for cable operators, mobile network operators, and internet service providers. Suntech Solutions work under the SunVizion brand name.
