Su-Kam Power Systems has launched solar home lighting system, which is simple, portable and non-polluting.
Features and USP: The home lighting system provides illumination powered from the sun’s renewable energy. It is an economical solution to all power problems and comes in an easy to install kit. The kit has 5 watt solar panels which are solid state semiconductor device that converts the sun’s energy directly into electricity. It is equipped with two LED lamps with 18 LEDs per lamp. Each lamp consumes 1.2 W power and is more luminous than a CFL or tubelight. These LED lamps have much longer life of approximately 10,000 hours.
The systems comprises one external charger. In absence of sunlight, one can charge it through this external charger which can be directly connected to the main electricity supply. A compact system with two 4.5 AH SMF inbuilt battery and a large controller protect the battery from overcharging or deep discharge. It allows to save 30 per cent of electricity bills if used on a day to day basis and has long backup lighting system with zero running cost.
