Friday, November 07, 2014: GP Goenka Group outfit, Stone India Ltd has announced about its execution of first order for solar power plant. The company has released statement for the stock exchanges of the country, under which Stone India has mentioned that its first order is for system’s design, supply, installation and maintenance by using company’s nano-string inverter.
The systems are capable of reducing the capital cost of power plants by at least 15 per cent with it higher power harvesting capability as compared to the traditional solar plant solutions. Such power plants involves unique feature of running in hybrid conditions-grid-tied as well as off grid.
The multi-product engineering company, Stone India, is located in Kolkata and serves Indian railway system and road industry. The company has now diversified into more sectors including hybrid solar power and bio-toilet systems.
